Hi Netters,

A local hospital with about 400 births per year started offering the second
day free even if insurance companies won't pay for more than a 24-hour stay.
Their BF policies are terrible. Their ads claim they can "catch" problems
easier and therefore treat them sooner - such as jaundice. Is this marketing
- to get a bigger patient share? More lucrative to treat jaundice caused by
bad policies than house healthy 2-day olds? Anybody have an idea about what's
going on??
