Dear Friends:
     Some great advice on this topic, for a mother who:
"Since adolescence she has had scabs that appear on her
nipples. They are painless, except when they fall off,
when it hurts. They come and go. She has asked doctors about
it repeatedly over the last 10 years or so, they all
say not to worry, but they haven't identified what it is.
Now that she is expecting a baby, she is concerned that the
baby might swallow the scabs and worries they might
harm the baby."

I would like to add the suggestion that a pap smear be done on these cells.
Pap is short for papinicalou (definitely spelled wrong), and refers to the
technique used to examine cells.
