Makes sense to me, and as mentioned, only seems fair. Many, but definitely not all, cue-based multip. BF MOT/MOM report a longer delay to return of menses from previous BF experiences. And "cue-based" can be a looser term when working to meet the needs of two or more babies of the same age.

Unfortunately, in spite of growth in the last decade, MOT/MOM still comprise a tiny minority of the fecund female sample. Add to that other risks factor for breast cancer that is highly associated with the rise in multiple births, i.e. delay in childbearing and researchers will probably throw up their hands... (Also, wmen who have taken ovulation induction agents AKA "fertility drugs" for 3 or more cycles are at a somewhat increased risk for ovarian cancer--something they should be told before agreeing to it!)
