Hi Rachelle,

Living here in the state of FL, I have done a lot of research on snakes.  The
information I found on snakebite regarding venom is that there are times when
you could be bitten without the snake actually injecting venom.  That's what
this case sounds like to me.  There is always the chance of infection,
however.  I, personally, would prefer to wait the 24 hours (just my opinion
on this part).  She is one lucky lady indeed!
