I am working with a mom (haven't seen her in person yet) whose baby was born
with Athrogryposis. Baby has club feet and his hands are flat on his arms.
Baby started off gaining well gaining 1 pound from day 3 to day 14.
Somewhere between the 2 wk check up and the 10 wk check up baby stopped
gaining that well (gaining only a pound) and between the 10 wk and 11 wk
check up baby lost 4 ounces. Mom is now supplementing and notes that her
supply seems to have crashed. Baby was SGA and 2 wks late - I believe he
weighed in at about 6' 14". I got all this info while driving last night so
couldn't write it all down and am doing the best I can from memory. (No, I
don't hold the phone to my ear.I wear a headset.) :-)

I suspect that since Arthrogryposis is a joint issue that there must be
something going on with baby's ability to feed (jaw joints) but since I have
ZERO experience with this I need input and fast. Any links to information
will be helpful, anyone who has worked with babies with this condition and
can offer me insights would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Warmly,
