Hi all,

I did have a mom that had a breast abcess during her pregnancy -- it DID
spontaneously split open and drained yukky green guk (good medical
terminology there). When I saw her pp, she still had the scars to prove it,
and though things went well with the bf, we were on the lookout for a
possible problem again.

The thought of the breast exploding is intriguing. I wonder why it didn't
make the front page of the National Inquirer -- "Woman injured by exploding
breast. Milk ducts found on Madison avenue!!"

Sigh.
