Laurie:

  i would add calendula to the nipple routine.. it is excellent for wound
healing as well as ahving antifungal and antibiotic properties.

  you did not indicate if the pain was better after she started on antifungal
treatment... if youknow that that is the correct dirrection.. contininue and
up the ante if needed.

  if the nipple does not heal in a reasonable time i would suggest a
dermatologist.
