Well hi again

Thanks to all who have responded about how to become more
involved.  I will contact my old LLL this evening..  I am sure my
years of work in my local LLL will be good for the volunteer part
 (I was the chapter librarian and facilitated the working mothers
milk expression by coordinating breast pump rental, providing
hints and tips and encouragement) and since I have breastfed for a
long time she will allow me to get started.

I am compelled to comment on the EBM discussion....  I never fed
my daughter with a bottle.  I too enjoy the special bond that I
got with her through actual contact.  On the other hand, I, like
the majority of mother's, have to work and my daughter has to
eat....  I think it is really important that the mother feed the
baby through physcial contact when she is there//// but if she
isn't, expressed milk is GREAT!
