I keep reading that monojets are good for finger feeding, but here in
Germany Medela has produced a feeder which also fits onto a syringe. it is
made of soft silicon and is flexible.
i can highly recommend it for those times when gizzmos are mighty helpful
getting a baby on to the breast.

I would like to report a suck-sess! After 8 weeks of pumping (2 times per
day, 750 ml!)
and giving her 9 week old 2nd child a bottle because of various problems at
the beginning, followed my instructions for feeding with the finger feeder.
After one week the baby accepted the breast - as though she had never done
anything else! The baby had refused all interim attempts at feeding.
