TY, Fleur :)
I did look in Hale - but obviously not in the right place. Would you be so
kind as to give me the page number, please?

Many thanks,

norma

Subject: Re: allergy shots for mama of 3 yr old

According to the 12th edition of Hale's (2006), allergy injections are
lactation risk category L1 (safest). Hale states: "Allergy injections
consist of protein and carbohydrate substances from plants, animals, and
other species. There are no reported untoward effects. They are unlikely to
enter milk."
"Pediatric Concerns: None reported in breastfeeding mothers."
