Sounds like hypernatremia caused by inadequate breast milk intake or
production. The "fever" state could be incidental, such as the fever "caused"
by engorgement. Wouldn't pumping and supplementing with breastmilk, or
pumping and increasing intake at the breast be more sensible??
Just a thought....
