Christina,

Thanks for letting me know about this practice!  I had never seen it done
myself.  I've seen the "cream" skimmed off human milk and added to a pumped
bottle, I've also seen polycose powder and other straight-up caloric sources
added, but never formula (foreign proteins).  It's good for me to learn
about what's actually being done in the nurseries.
