When I see a client doing something in a way which I don't think is best,
I always try to ask myself:
"How much harm is it really doing?" Often, I find that the answer is some
old-fashioned feeding practices work pretty well for some mothers. I
think it's important to "pick your battles" and if it's a minor issue and
not causing a lot of trouble, I try to let it go. Especially if mom and
baby are content and it's not something that will damage one or the
other's health. And especially if mom does not think it's an issue.
