I would sincerely doubt if a one week old baby had foremilk/hindmilk
imbalance!
I also sincerely doubt if nursing from only one side for 12 hours is any
good for mom (establishing an ample supply) or baby (learning how to
nurse!)  Frequently some newborns are sort of gassy and antsy as their body
learns how to digest something new (colostrum and milk) as opposed to the
amniotic fluid diet they had been   on!  Good grief give them a chance to
regulate each other and let their bodies figure it out!  Sincerely, Pat in
