I prefer the Baby Bliss Gripe Water.  I looked at both of them and decided 
that I like their ingredients better.  I do find that it helps with painful 
gas.  I recommend half the dose that they suggest and find that it is enough.

I think that one would have to give baby a lot of Gripe Water before any 
sodium balance was disturbed.  The package limits the dosage to 6 times a 
day.  I seldom have clients who use it more than 2-3 times a day.

These two companies do seem to be in competition.

I have several pediatricians who have begun to recommend it since the 
simethicone drops don't seem to have any positive effect.
