I also wonder sometimes if the previous weight check was inaccurate. Our
first child was referred to an endocrinologist due to low gain in 2 month period.
However it turned out the numbers were wrong in her chart. The endocrinologist
laughed us out of the room. It was a nurse miscalculation that sent us there
in the first place.

On the other hand, I am with all of you who wrote about the focus on charts.
It drives me nuts that so many docs no longer look at the "whole baby" only
numbers. Heather
