I have not been able to get this webpage to work but am curious as to what it
says. I am faced with the "guilt" factor frequently in my area. Why just
yesterday in a job interview, the interviewer said, "You know we never want to
make mothers feel guilty for not breastfeeding. You know how some LC's can do
that and then the mom needs to come to the doctor to be reassured that we
support her no matter what her feeding choice." Oy!
This is a tough topic though and yes, I know all about the carseat comparison
and I love that, but not everyone hears the correlation when you use that
one. My response was simply that mothers need to be told the truth and the
facts, but I don't think he got my drift.
Besides, I do want the job, but far be it from me to worry about "guilt" when
we are talking about saving lives here. Thoughts? Thanks, Ann
