Barbara, You are obviously both knowledgeable and passionately 
concerned for our profession.  In reading your letter I am lacking in 
clarity. It is unclear to me if you are advocating a 2 year program 
as opposed to hours? How would you see this applied internationally 
where education programs are rare to none? Given your concerns 
regarding the current measurement of experience, how would you 
proposed measuring hours, or supervising hours?  Also how would you 
see this apply worldwide in vastly different health care systems?
