Sandra, Depo is said to be compatible with breastfeeding, but I have SO many 
moms call with abrupt reduction in supply with hormones, including depo! I think 
that some women tolerate it and for some it causes a drop in supply. 
Unfortunately we don't have any way to tell who is who, and, you can't get the 
depo back out.
