Hello,
good news for my patient that I received in consultation recently;

factors were
CMT playing maybe a role (at what level)
no night feed but a lot of feeds in the day (+ massage/compression)
trouble of thyroïd, from hyper she had turned hypo.

The only thing we changed as a first step what: having the crib of the child close to her own bed;
Mom called me 2 days after: 3 nightfeeds each night after the consult milk dripping much more widely
Mom called me soon  after: + 200g in less than one week (where the baby took 200g per month twice before);

Then I need to consider the other potential factors

*IF there was a part of it with the Charcot Marie Tooth disease? would have the homeopathic treatment needed 10 days to work?

*the part of hypo: Does a treatment against hypothyroïdism need: one month of treatment + 9 days until blood test + 2 days (receiving the results + coming to my practice)  before following my suggestions of night feeds?

This mom has just left the country for a trip with husband and baby; she took her pump "in case of" and she decided to consult a doctor at any trouble coming back - clinical signs of hypo and/or lactation. Whenever she has trouble and the internet she "calls" me. She will see if she continues massage/compression, or how long she continues;

when she left on her trip, it had been several nights with 3 feeds ; milk spraying during the day + seemingly good growth back again.

The most funny thing, is that: she had put her baby sleeping in another bedroom because the "noises" of the baby made her upset and unable to sleep.....

Thanks for all you shared on the list or privately,
Breast regards,

Françoise Coudray, IBCLC
