     this is also true of medications... maybe the physicians/pharmacists
would like to comment on the frequency of the use of medications for other
than origionally intended purposes....

     intersting how one practice causes GREAT concern and the other is a
matter of course...

     It may well date me but I also remember stuffed bottle nipples used as
pacifiers in the hospital and heard today of a mtoher getting a bulb syringe
pump at a hosptial .
