Sorry - 
  Mag is Magnesium Sulfate - IV fluid given to mom with pre-eclampsia to prevent seizure and blood vessel spasm.  Makes mom feel pretty icky and flu-like, requires careful monitoring for mom's and baby safety.
   
  NBN is New Born Nursery
I forget sometimes I use alphabet soup and don't always remember that the alpabets aren't universal!
