That is a good way to put it. Seems that a relaxed demonstrate/return
demonstrate system works well for most skills acquisition, including
breastfeeding skills such as breast massage /compression, manual expression,
position, latch. Depends on mom's need. Hands on as needed, then off. For most
first time moms, observation and assisted practice facilitates learning,
independent proficiency, and skill retention. (It sure is more "warm and
fuzzy" in real life than it reads)
