Cathy: I'm responding to the list too because I think bf moms could
benefit from this knowledge. Yes, the chondroitin and glucosamine are
expensive, but you can get them from Price/costco now at a discount. It's
hard to know if they will work for you or not until you try it. About 3/4
of those who try the regimin in the Arthritis Cure book notice some
difference, but remember the placebo effect is around 1/3. And, one needs
to take this for at least a month to really give it a chance.

For others suffering from this, especially bf moms, I've found an even more
holistic--as in more encompassing--approach is using a glyconutritional
product (which is partly what glycos-amine is--it's a glycoprotein). The
patented formula that I use is Ambrotose by Mannatech. I can tell you how
to get it as it isn't in stores. Also, anyone who emailed me about herb
distributors and wanted addresses, PLEASE send me the info again. My dh
was being helpful and deleted the whole list right before I was going to
print it (prior to going in for surgery). The idea behind glycoproteins is
that they are supposed to mediate cell-to-cell communication and in the
case of arthritis and many other chronic diseases there is a breakdown of
cell communication.
