In my experience, nurses who have continued to give out poor breastfeeding
info or support for years (without learning and changing their ways) have not
passed the IBLCE. Those who've gone on and learned from past mistakes do
alright. There will always be some IBCLCs who are better LC practitioners
than others--look at licensed physicians and nurses--aren't some better than
others? The way it goes... (Doesn't mean we have to like it or stop working
to improve it!)
