Yes, it is nice to know that Ms. Clinton "understands" about separation
being detrimental to breastfeeding.

On the other hand, she is the one who a couple of years ago was saying the
it was criminal for all women not to have access to epidurals during labor.
The assumption was that 1) all women want them; 2) all women deserve them;
3) they are absolutely necessary in labor; 4) they are always desirable.

I was very angry with the press coverage of this issue, which buys into the
medicalization of childbirth, and perpetuates the overuse of anesthetic
during labor, without any informed consent regarding the side effects that
can be detrimental to baby and mother.
