When my children were small and I didn't want to be called for jury duty I did
not register to vote!  Perhaps if politicians realized that there are
potential voters out there refusing to register because they don't want to be
separated from their children for jury duty then the laws would be (in this
case) followed or changed if need be.  It is a sad state of affairs that one
must give up there right to vote in order to meet family needs.
