Kathleen, this reminds me of the news that came out 2 or 3 years ago about
the enzymes in mother's milk leaching (or leeching?) something out of the
light plastic
bags used in "my worst enemy baby bottle and nipple". The heavier plastic
bags sold by truly breastfeeding-friendly companies don't seem to have the
problem. The mom's milk smelled bad and babies obviously did not like the
taste. No one mentioned the soapy look, however.

Hi. I have checked the archives for recent notes on this. I found
suggestions, but wanted to check here for any further info. A client pumps
her milk. If she stores in the refrigerator, or the freezer, it turns soapy
and tastes bad to her, and she doesn't want to use it for her baby. >>
