Just the other day I received a request for information about a certain drug from a mother who had just been told that her pharmacist didn't have the necessary references. When the mother replied that she would call LLL to get the information, the pharmacist requested that LLL donate a copy to the drugstore!

While I am pleased that he recognised the need to keep up to date on medications for nursing mothers, am I out of line in thinking that it is the responsibility of the pharmacy (and/or the store owner) to provide the necessary references? Surely they are more financially able to buy a copy of Hale ($25?) than a struggling voluntary organization?
