I'm a pediatrician in my 3rd year of practice and have been on Lactnet since
Nancy Wight suggested it to me after I met her at the Oct 97 Academy of
Breastfeeding Medicine conference.
I became interested in breastfeeding during residency when a mom asked me a
question I didn't know the answer to (he was biting). It occurred to me that
as I pediatrician I should know how to feed babies.
My interest increased during residency leading me to attend the 1997 LLLI
conference were I learned of ABM and Med Associates to LLL.
