Mellanie--has this baby been seen by a pediatric gastroenterologist?  It
sounds from your description that at least a large part of his difficulties
stem from untreated GERD, and there are surgical procedures that may be
able to help this child if an appropriate diagnosis were made.  Unless
there's a typo in your post, it does not sound as though his weight is
within normal limits.  By the CDC charts he started out at about the 50th
percentile and he is now well below the 3rd percentile--I think that would
meet anybody's criteria for failure to thrive.
