In regards to the question on how to increase milk supply (i.e. what is
obtained during pumping) leads me to pose a similar question to my esteemed
colleagues. In a recent discussion with some other LCs the question came up
of: what is the least amount of milk seen in regular pumping sessions, what
is the most you;ve ever seen and how long did it take to obtain? We
occasionally see moms who can get huge amounts of milk with a hand pump, yet
others can't get much with a hospital grade electric pump? We also discussed
discrepancies in breast size and amount of milk pumped. Would anyone like to
discuss these issues on-line (if appropriate), off-line (private e-mail) or
by USPS? No need to name pumps by brand or mfr. Just hand, elec or battery.
My e-mail address is MSmith8813, USPS 28 Abbeywood Drive, Romeoville, IL
 60446.
TIA, MKS
