A point was made that homo sapiens is the only species that copulates
face to face (and thereby implying some importance of the breast?).

Not true. Cetaceans mate face to face (or should I say ventral side to
ventral side since their relatively immoble cervical vertebrae won't
allow them to be truly en face). Their breasts are the most hidden of
all mammals. And I don't necessarily believe that human female anatomy
indicates a biologically preferred mating position. It's all to easy to
interpret the anatomy in light of a specific type of view that requires
humans to be different than other mammals.

Still looking for answers on this one,
Beth
