Dear Becky,
        This baby would benefit from heavy cluster feeding.   I often
instruct parents to feed a baby every 1-2-3 hours, and teach there is a
little higher fat content in the milk with the subsequent close feedings.
 Also how a newborn's normal feeding pattern is cluster feeding before or
after naps.   How did the I and O look?  Is mom keeping a record for the
next few days?
     Another thought.....was the birth weight an error?
