I haven't been on Lactnet for long, so wasn't present for the last discussion
of it. I do in personal experience with moms see some who experience
cramping and loose stools in either/both mom and baby. Not often enough to
keep me from using fenugreek and blessed thistle as a recommendation when a
galactagogue is needed, but often enough to know that it is a possible side
effect. The concentration can make a difference, too. A mom may not be able
tolerate high concentrations of fenugreek, but doesn't exhibit the same
intestinal difficulties with it in say Mother's Milk Tea.
