I use a certified aromatherapist to lead me in my personal essential oil use. She has indicated that oils should not be used around infants until 4-6 months of age. Also, that fennel oil has the ability to cause neurological issues (neurotoxicity) when used on the breast for increased milk supply as the infant is breathing it in and the oil is likely entering the milk through the skin and duct system. She primarily utilizes Robert Tiserand for her safety information.
