Dear Friends,
We are caring for a baby who is three days old.  His mom had a myocardial
infarction several years ago at age 30.  Since that time she has been on
amlodipine besylate 5mg qd and atenolol 50 mg qd.  Her blood pressure is very
well controlled at 110/70.  Since her cardiac problems, she has had one
stillborn infant.  This little guy we are caring for was born at 33 weeks.
His birth weight was 2# 7oz (1106 gm).  There is concern over the potential
effects of the medications on this infant.  I'd appreciate any thoughts.
