I agree... I also tell moms that babies "job" is to doule their birth
weight. If baby even gets one half ounce of breastmilk while non-nut.
sucking, thats more than he will ever get from plastic substitute. Since
most of the moms who call me (because baby is using them as a pacifier)
have very small babies, this really hits home. I would imagine that it
would work the same with moms of big babies..They still want their baby
to grow, too.
