Please write that book, Jennifer Tow! One of the reasons (besides the
difficulty in affording them) that many of us don't attend your webinars is
that this is the kind of paradigm shift (overused term, but actually
applicable in this case) that takes a long time to digest. A book allows
for rumination to absorb the knowledge -- and to eliminate the
misinformation that prevents it from connecting in our minds to truths we
already know. A book allows a clinician to match observations, as they
arise, to principles laid out by the author -- to improve the diversity and
robustness of the "microbial mat" of understanding ;^).

"The Continuum Concept" comes to mind as a book that still has influence at
many levels over the decades. The value of getting observations ON THE
RECORD when there is much in the culture to cloud their interpretation is
incalculable. Perhaps you want to refine your understanding or have the
time to write the book that will get across everything you know -- but
maybe it's time for a *first* edition.
