Just saw a notice at my hospital inviting staff to Dept. of Pediatrics
Christmas party with food provided by R***! Do I just not go and miss the
opportunity to network with attending peds that I rarely get to see (nursery
covered by CNNP's)?  Do I go and not eat anything (satisfies me but probably
will go unnoticed, so what's the point?)?  Or do I just not think about the
Code (we are obviously nowhere near Baby Friendly yet) and attend, hoping to
do some good via networking?  What do others do?

(I'm a non-RN IBCLC working as hospital based for less than 2 years; last year
I did not know about this party until it was over.)
