 Hi there,

A few days ago I gave someone a nipple shield for my first time, and baby has
latched onto it. Mom feels he is now a step closer to the breast. She had
been cup feeding for 3 weeks. After 2 days she hasn't been able to slip it
off and get him onto the breast, but will be patient. However, I was
wondering about cutting pieces away gradually. It's the thin silicone
shield. Have you had experience with this as a way to wean from the shield?

Thanks, Paula Tripp, RN, IBCLC Maine The limericks are awesome!
