I would not suggest taking Violet off a bottle and 'forcing' her to
breastfeed. In my experience this never works. Feeding should be
pleasurable for you and your beautiful daughter. In fact, when she feels
full and content is a good time to offer the breast for some pleasure
suckling and perhaps some milk. The only idea I have is to borrow breast
milk from a relative or best friend so you can use less formula.
Is your goal the same as your lactation consultants? You can
certainly hold your baby closely and lovingly and bottle feed.
     Best wishes,
