Dear Lactnetters,
I have been searching the web & I can't find the info that has been requested
of me.
I have been asked for references/resources on the temperature for
warming/heating stored breastmilk in the hospital. What temp should the
warmed milk be? What temp is too high? (Is there any significance to 77
degrees Fahrenheit?) Once stored milk is warmed, how long can it be kept at
room temp? Can it be put back in fridge after warming for later use? Any
difference on warming previoulsy frozen milk vs milk that has only been
refrigerated?
