I don't suggest you do this to a mother.  I used to have a friend who
would poke his finger quickly into my mouth if I yawned without covering
my mouth, he did it as a joke.  I don't think he was after proper
ettiquette.  It is very unpleasant because the yawn is immediately
interrupted.  If a mother experienced this one time, I think she would
never do it to a child again.  Maybe tell her to try it at home???
