I searched the archives re: gripe water and did not come up with
enough information. Has anyone done a comparison on Baby Bliss gripe
water to Woodward's gripe water? Baby bliss uses fennel, ginger, and
sodium bicarbonate. Woodward's uses dill seed oil, sodium bicarbonate,
and alcohol? I have a print out on Woodward's that states its ingredients
as: sarjikakshara .05g and anethungraveolans oil .005g and sugar 1.10g.
My herb book lists dill as the anethum graveolens. States not to use
with pregnancy and lactation. Also states is used to relieve flatulence
and infant colic. Of concern: may alter sodium balance.
     What is the sarjikakshara?
Is there any alcohol in it?
Sounds like a lot of sugar.

I would appreciate any info you have on this. Thanks!
