The parlodel did lower milk supply - at first (Wednesday and Thursday) to a
normal level, but then (Friday and Saturday) mom needed to give formula
because baby wanted more milk than she was making.

BUT by Monday, the Parlodel effect had work off and mom was BACK TO
EXCESSIVE PRODUCTION.

I have no idea what to tell her. She needs assessment - pituitary tumor
was the next thing that someone brought up... This is a Medical Problem,
not one for a Lactation Consultant - but the MD just says "stop pumping and
you'll stop making milk" (obviously she doesn't understand the agony of the
breasts that are not softened). An I STILL want to know the reason for
this!

Now baby has a cold (started during the weekend when she was taking
formula) - coincidence?
