I'm not sure that milk sensitivity should be called trendy: it was an
anecdotal based suggestion for years (must be at least 15 since it was the
first thing I did with my howling baby who is now 15 years old: by the way
it didn't help him but did wonders for my complexion, stuffy nose and
asthma).  There is some research verifying the sensitivity out there, but
as with so much of breastfeeding, what works for one seems to work for
others.
