Thank you for your reply on Hep C Dr Wight - the subject has come up a
couple of times, so I'm not sure if it was my posting you were responding
to. My question was about breastfeeding by HCV-RNA positive women in
developing nations. I have since carefully read your excellent paper on
Hep C at http://www.breastfeeding.org/articles/hepatitis.html
In this paper you mention that HCV-RNA positive women (ie those who become
viraemic) in areas where hygiene and relatively safe alternatives are
available should discontinue breastfeeding at this point. Is this still
your recommendation?

TIA
Denise
