There are ample studies in the professional literature noting that
pituitary tumors (often called prolactinomas) are NOT a contraindication to
breastfeeding. With the excess of prolactin produced, these mothers are
often put on parlodel to tamp down the prolactin secretions but babies do
quite well, getting ample milk. Breastfeeding does NOT make the tumors
grow, by the way.

"We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly
disguised as impossible situations."
