I had a call from a mother of a 6 week old who is going through a divorce.
Dad has the baby Fri evening through Sun evening. Mom is concerned about
supply and latching issues after such consistent interruptions of breastfeeding.
She has asked me to write a letter discussing the impact on breastfeeding with
such an arrangement.

Does anyone have any experience with this and are there any studies that we
can cite?

TIA,
Judy Hatfield RNC, IBCLC
